It turns out this is the 100th newsletter I’ve sent out pestering people with information about my musical endeavors. Thanks to all who have stuck by and given their support throughout the years. Whether it be through attending shows, buying CD’s/Downloads, being a musician sharing the stage with me, or simply helping out with advice or contacts, thanks soo much. It’s much appreciated.

While Wilton Said… as a band may be on hiatus, my work regarding promotion for the Rock Opera “Do You Remember Me?” is in swing. Both co-writer/drummer Barry Brown and myself have been busy sending out press releases to various media outlets hoping for a bite.
A good friend of mine who does some work in the theater had mentioned that it helps to have a stage script available for performance purposes. Together we’ve been working on finalizing a Script for theater production. The script is great and it really helps to solidify the lyrical storyline which Barry Brown has come up with.

This upcoming Sat evening April 28th, 11:59pm, Barry and I will be guests on Spaceman Stan’s “Adventures in Plasticland” radioshow on CKWR. https://www.ckwr.com/listen-live-online.
Please tune in to hear songs and details regarding “Do You Remember Me?”.

Hopefully you’ve got a few minutes to spare as this newsletter is a little lengthy.

Rock Opera
During the early summer the Rock Opera was mastered by Bassist, Engineer and Mastering guy Frank Heisler. For those who might not know, Frank was the bassist for the Wilton Said… band from 2001 on and off through to 2015. He also played bass on this Rock Opera recording. Many thanks again Frank for all you’ve done. So musically and sonically, everything is complete.

During the fall, Barry Brown (drummer, lyricist, composer) and I worked on the design for the PDF and CD packaging. So now, almost everything to do with online digital sales is done with the music and graphics having been uploaded to both wiltonsaid.com and bandcamp online services. We are just working on a lyric page to add to these sites. This brings us to an important piece of information, the title. Our working titles have been “Rock Opera”, “Rocking Rabbit Opera” (based on the movie Rabbit Proof Fence), “The Rock Opera, similar to Jesus Christ Superstar” or “This Thing Which Has Taken 10 Years to do”, but as you can see, none are suitable for a real title. So we took a title of one of the songs which we felt really represented what this was all about. The title is….
ta da…
“Do You Remember Me?”.

As for CD’s, we are both aware that CD’s are slowly becoming a thing of the past but still recognize that some people want a tangible object to hold, care for and love. As a result, we will be doing a short run of CD’s (CDR’s) which will also have a similar design to the downloads. However, due to the limited length of CD’s and CDR’s, the physical product will have a few less songs. We are still researching the best company to go with and should have a decision in the next few weeks.

Some people have been asking if we’ll have a stage production. While we would love to have this performed, it is a daunting task to organize and fund. Thankfully, a good friend of mine has offered to write a script which includes lyrics, character parts and stage directions. He suggests that approaching a theater company with as much information as possible is the best way to go. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a good draft in the new year.

This brings us to the topic of release. There are a few ways to go about this which Barry and I will need to further discuss. Do we wait for a stage performance and release the CD/Downloads in conjunction with it? Or, do we release the CD’s/Downloads first in hopes that it will promote interest in a performance by a theater company? Hmmmm. Personally, I think we should go with option #2. If anyone has any opinions, we’d love to hear or read them. Nevertheless, we’re hoping for a 2018 release.

Once again Barry and I would like to thank everyone involved up until now…
Roy McCandish, Amber Reid, Chris Reid, April Stevens, Glenn Sevillo, Frank Heisler, Andrew Prior and Barb Brown.

Please stay tuned.

Wilton Said…
While the band is on hold, writing for a newer Wilton Said… release has still been going on. There are now 7 songs written for the release. This eventual release will have additional major writing credits by friend and bassist Deb Ray and Barry Brown. Deb Ray was a bass player in my 2nd band Crisis Ten and subbed in on bass in the Wilton Said… band for a few gigs. He’s had a few musical ideas floating around without a home which he’s let me use which will be part of a longer multi sectioned epic song called “We Are (the) Silence”. Barry Brown has also contributed lyrics which I really really like called “Something in the Water”. The lyrics inspired me to write music which to my ears is reminiscent to Kate Bush’s song “The Wedding List”. He’s also added lyrics to one of the sections of “We Are (the) Silence”.
For this recording, I’ll be performing guitar, keyboards and vocals. Hopefully recording work can begin sometime in 2018.

Wine
One of my loves is red wine. I’m always on the look out, or taste out for a Rustic Red. I’d love to hear or read of any suggestions.

Thanks
Wilton

P.S. Please feel free to check out the final version of “Children of a Different Kind” below.

I know I’ve told myself that I wouldn’t complain about the heat. No matter the heat, it’s better than winter.

Rock Opera
As mentioned in the last newsletter, mixing has been completed and I’ve spent the last few weeks communicating with Bassist, Engineer and Mastering guy Frank Heisler. He’s been busy mastering the recording and has been doing a great job. Early versions were very promising with a few issues of over compression and volume swells. But after a few weeks of listening to different versions, I think we’ve found a sound that works. Still a few little piddley things to adjust, but we’re on the right track.

Lyricist and Co-writer Barry Brown and I are still working out a title and cover ideas for the recording. Barry has an idea which I think is very strong, we just need to get down and execute it.

Wilton Said…
As stated in the last newsletter, I’ve got about 5 songs written for a Wilton Said… E.P. However, I probably won’t get to recording until sometime in 2018 as there’s still a lot of work to do with the Rock Opera. In addition, I want to enjoy the summer rather then being holed up inside.
Overall, events are moving forward.

Thanks
Wilton
Wilton Said...tag:wiltonsaid.com,2005:Post/46180402017-03-06T09:08:16-05:002017-03-06T09:08:16-05:00Wilton Said… Newsletter #96
Rock Opera
Mixing has been completed as has the mixdown to stereo tracks. Last weekend Lyricist, Composer and Drummer Barry Brown came over to hear the mixed tracks and he was excited at finally hearing the close to finished tracks. I say close to finished as even though the mixing has been completed, there’s still the mastering stage where starts, ends, fade outs, volume levels and song markers are adjusted to make for an over all flow from song to song.
There are a few options for Mastering. Engineer, composer, vocalist, ex Wilton Said… guitarist Chris Reid has mastered past WS releases and I’ll have to see if he’s up for doing this one. Bassist Frank Heisler (also ex WS) also does mastering and may be interested. We’ll have to see.

Barry and I still have additional things to work on such as an actual title for the project, graphics and cover, short run CD duplication (if applicable in this day and age), stage script, and researching where and how to have this project performed.

Wilton Said…
I’ve slowly been putting together charts and songs for a possible Wilton Said… E.P. release. Three of the songs are written solely by me, while the fourth is based on ideas by Bassist Deb Ray. I’ve managed to arrange his bass riffs and melodies into parts within a song structure. This song will feature odd time signatures, key changes, dynamic changes, tempo changes, mood shifts, everything that makes a prog rock song PROG. It also looks like it’ll be about 15minutes long with lyrics dealing with events that creep into our lives and slowly change who we are without realizing it.
Not sure when recording will start as I’ve still got work to do with the Rock Opera. (see above).

Overall, events are moving forward.

One of the songs called “Come” off of 2003’s Say You Will features Lindsey Buckinghams gritty guitar tone along with the pounding rhythms of John Mc Vie and Mick Fleetwood. This makes for one of their heaviest songs ever. Overall a great song to rock out to. Anyways, on to other stuff.

Rock Opera
Mixing has been coming along slowly but surely with about 3/4 of the songs being finished. It’s been interesting mixing all the textures and soundscapes. One of the challenges have been with co writer Barry Brown’s songs. He has a fantastic sense of melody and chord structure and has written some great ballads for this musical. His arrangement style is very simple with the song textures originally being based around piano and strings. To help vary his songs, I’ve applied different instrumental textural arrangements to the songs. In some cases I stripped the arrangement down to just feature the piano. In other songs, I used the full string texture throughout with almost no piano. In another case I chose a combination of the two. All in all, I thing I’ve been able to compliment the lyrics that go with these songs.

Wilton Said…
A few weeks ago, I met up with an old friend who I’ve had the pleasure of playing with throughout the years. Deb Ray is a bass player who I first met when he joined an early band of mine called Crisis Ten. After the band broke up, we went our separate musical ways. However, he has leant his jazzy writing skills to a few songs throughout the years. “Shopping Asia” was a song which was jammed out while we were in Crisis Ten which I later rerecorded for my 1st CD World up my Ass. He also played on a few tracks on that CD. He later helped with the writing on the song “Circus Alive” off of the Butterfly Plague. He was responsible for some of the riffs which appear in the opening and the verse. He later played with the WS band substituting for Frank Heisler while he was dealing with health issues.

Currently, I’m thinking of recording a 3 or 4 song download E.P. Two songs are already written but I wanted at least a third. I had a few rhythmic and textural ideas but nothing as far as the actual notes, chords or melodies. Deb was able to come in and we jammed through a few of his Bass riff ideas and throughout the weeks I’ve been able to arrange them into a part of a song. I probably have a 1/3rd of the musical textural ideas written in my head, but I’ve still got 2/3rds to go. So if you happen to see me out and about staring off into space while my hands and feet are twitching, I’m probably writing and arranging in my head. Do Not disturb.

Rock Opera Arrangements and Mixing

For the past 4 months, I’ve been mixing the Rock Opera recording. ….And it’s taking longer than anticipated. I’ve come to realize that while the songs themselves are simpler in structure, the textural orchestration and arrangement is more complex than on any of the Wilton Said… recordings. Thinking about this, it makes sense, as the WS band consisted of drums, bass, guitars, sometimes keyboards and vocals. In most cases I tried to keep the instrument arrangement for recording similar to how we’d play it live. There were a few cases of harmony guitars, rhythm guitar backing the lead guitar, and some doubling of keyboard and guitar parts which, when played live, would just be one or the other. But over all, pretty straight forward.

This Rock Opera is another thing altogether. When I arranged and recorded the guitar and keyboard parts, I went with what I thought sounded good without any regard on how it will be reproduced live. So there are many instances of rich, thick, everything including the kitchen sink, textures. In many cases these textures overlap from one song section into another which makes it tricky to mix section by section.

Sonically, the keyboard textures are all over the place. With WS, I pretty much kept to a small roster of sounds. Not so with the RO. I’ve got clavinet, distorted piano, various strings, pads, numerous lead sounds, effects and more.

The guitar parts, while a little more straight forward in sound (usually overdriven), are in some cases arranged to add to the orchestration rather then the main chordal instrument. This means some widdle diddle of my digital Eq knobs to get these guitar lines to stand out without over-powering the mix.

And then there are the vocals. Six character vocalist parts with usually a maximum of three on any one song. This makes for additional twiddling as each vocalist needs a slightly different Eq setting. Some vocalists are louder than others so there’s also the variable fader factor.

Over all I’m not complaining (I don’t think I’m complaining), it’s a great learning experience. However, it’s meant that each song is taking me four to five hours to mix as opposed to the two hours it used to take me to mix a WS song. Finding four or five hours to mix can be tricky as I need to be in the right head space. Nevertheless, I am half way through and have reviewed the earlier mixed songs with the more recently mixed songs for comparison to make sure they all sound within the same style. And they do, yay!!!!!!!!!!

I’ll be doing more mixes on and off over the summer and fall and hope to have this thing mixed by late fall. Then it’ll be mastering time. After that, there’s the business of scripts and hopefully having a theater company (perhaps high school) perform this.

That’s all for now.

Thanks
Wilton

P.S. Feel free to take a listen to a rough mix of one of the songs with yours truly on vocals.
Wilton Said...tag:wiltonsaid.com,2005:Post/40527422016-02-21T14:45:59-05:002016-02-21T14:45:59-05:00Wilton Said… Newsletter #93
What About the Band?
You may have seen that last year I parted ways with my band mates due to conflict of scheduling's and outside obligations. I was going to work on an acoustic based album, but I really didn't feel pulled to do it, so as of now that idea is scrapped. I put out a classified ad looking for potential band members to either form a new band or for me to join their band. The important aspects for me (in additional to musical) would be band mates who share very similar goals as myself. While I have had a few contacts, they have unfortunately not worked out.
Another idea which I'm thinking about would be a return to working as a solo artist with musicians backing me up for recording and playing live. As of now, I have 3 newer songs which could be recorded and I'd probably re record "Tremble".
For those that are interested in the more technical side of things, I'd set up click tracks for all songs and record a basic drum part and bass part for each song along with keeper guitars and vocals. Then it would be a case of hiring a drummer and bassist to come in and re record their parts. If this takes place, it probably won't be till the fall. But, we'll see.

Rock Opera
Mixing has started, yeah!!! Well actually, I set up EQ patches, effects and approximate volume levels for a section of one song. The effects, volume and EQ's for this section will be used as a template for the rest of the recording. After 3 hours of constant listening, my ears are now burnt and I'll probably resume in a few days as I'd like to relax for the rest of the day.
Stay Tuned.

It has been my utmost pleasure to be working with Bassist Frank Heisler, Drummer Peter Karppi and Guitarist Andrei Pestov (who was slated to replace guitarist Chris Reid) and perhaps I will cross musical paths with them in the future.

What About Tremble?
During the later part of 2014, the band and I recorded a 3 song Download only release called Tremble. For various reasons, we were not happy with the mix and had hoped to remix and release it at a later date. With departure of guitarist Chris Reid and the joining of Andrei Pestov, we then hoped to re record the guitar and remix the EP. However, due to the above circumstances this will no longer be the case and the EP shall remain forever in our very own private collection.

Recording
Over the next few months I will be working on some solo material which I've felt has never fit the full band format. Stay tuned for more sound bites.

Rock Opera
All the lead vocal character parts have been recorded, hurray!!! Once this last part is finished, I'll be mixing and mastering. In the meantime I'll need to contact co writer Barry Brown to discuss the graphic design and manufacturing costs. More info to come….

Simple Minds
I've always enjoyed some of the Pop music from the 80's such as Duran Duran, The Cure, Billy Idol, and Tears for Fears. While these bands might not have been in the same category of musicianship and complexity as 80's Yes, Genesis, Rush or Queen, they were by no means slouches within their genre. Duran Duran bass player John Taylor was a monster on bass, take a listen to the song "Rio". The songwriting of The Cure's Robert Smith was schizophrenic with his depressive gloom-ridden songs such as "The Same Deep Water As You" juxtaposed with his happier jolly "Lovecats", or "Friday I'm in Love". Billy Idol's guitarist Steve Stevens was a fantastic player with chops to spare and helped write the arty jazzy psychedelic "Flesh for Fantasy". Tears for Fears also had some great songs which rivaled the textures of Prog Rock with "Broken" and "Listen". However lately I've been listening to a lot of Simple Minds.
To my knowledge their early albums before they hit the big time were a little on the arty, minimalistic and New Wave side. Not really my thing. However with the release of their "Sparkle in the Rain" album they were able to advanced into a more mainstream rock/pop sound with songs such as "Up on the Catwalk", "Book Of Brilliant Things" and "Waterfront". They really hit the big time with the song "Don't You Forget About Me" which was written for the Breakfast Club movie by Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff. The band however didn't really like the song and even after recording it have still not warmed up to it. Nevertheless it helped put the band on the map and the following album "Once Upon a Time" was a huge hit. A few years later they recorded the album "Street Fighting Years" which yielded the title track which is their most Proggy song to date. I stopped being interested in the band after their stab at Pop/RnB with their release "Real Life". A few OK tracks but just not my thing.
Recently I decided to check out what had been happening with the band and came across a few songs from various recent albums which are fantastic. "Stay Visible" from "Black & White 050505", "Moscow Underground" and "Stars Will Lead the Way" from "Graffiti Soul" and "Blindfolded" from the most recent "Big Music" are all songs which are worthy of anything they did in the 80's. In the case of "Stay Visible", it's almost a rip off of "Wall of Love" from "Street Fighting Years". A similar tempo, rhythm and guitar pattern. However, the production on the song(s) sound more lively and richer which give them a darker and edgier feel. If you like your Pop with some edge, give these songs a listen.

Until next time…
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Krazy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year and over all Happy Holidays.

Wilton

Wilton Said...tag:wiltonsaid.com,2005:Post/31974372014-09-22T01:30:52-04:002014-09-22T01:30:52-04:00Wilton Said… Newsletter #89 The summer was spent doing things which might normally happen during any given summer. I drank a bit of wine, read comics, relaxed, went to the UK, and spent a few days camping in the rain. :( Guitarist Chris spent some time doing some work in his back garden rebuilding his garage. (Sounds like fun!) Drummer Peter spent his time with his family removed from the hustle and bustle of the city at his cottage. Bassist Frank… I'm actually not to sure what he does to relax. I think he just plays bass and spends time with his wife and dog. With all this good time summer feeling going on, we did manage to continue our rehearsals and we've now actually started recording.
The past two weekends saw Peter laying down his drum tracks which went amazingly well. He's a very solid drummer and has come up with great fills and parts to the songs. Later on today I'll be heading over to Chris's place (our rehearsal space and recording studio) to sit in on bassist Franks recordings. I don't expect this to take very long as Frank is also an extremely solid player who knows how to lock into any groove. At some point Chris will be recording his parts which I'd like to sit in for as I have some additional ideas I'd like him to try out. After that it'll be time for my vocals although probably not for another two weeks as I currently have a ragging sinus cold which usually takes a few weeks to clear up. So over all, with regards to recording, things are moving forward.
Hopefully we'll have this new release recorded, mixed, mastered etc by late fall. However, the release date will probably be closer to our Release show which will be sometime next year. Until then, if you find yourself in need of any Wilton Said… music, check out http://www.wiltonsaid.com/music

Until next time…

Wilton

Wilton Said...tag:wiltonsaid.com,2005:Post/29778312014-05-28T19:22:05-04:002014-05-28T21:28:13-04:00Wilton Said… Newsletter #88Work Being Done on New Recording

Yes, you read that correctly. The band and I are working on some new material to record, and also working on re-recording two older songs. New drummer Peter Karppi has fit right in and added some new rhythmic dimensions to the songs and has been adding his percussive flair to the newer songs.

The rehearsing, writing and recording will be a little different from the past as guitarist Chris has set up his protools to record the rehearsals. This was a suggestion that Peter made and it has been working quite well. In a sense we are making our own rough demos in which to learn and perfect the arrangement and playing of the songs.

One of the new songs called "Tremble", was written after Chris came up with a few whacky and zany sounding chord progressions which I arranged into a song with lyrics. What's great is that I would've never in a million years come up with this type of progression on my own, so it looks like Wilton Said… will have yet another variation in it's musical style. Chris has another chord progression based on the fibonacci number sequence which sounds interesting, again nothing I would've ever come up with. I've been working all week trying out arrangement ideas in my head, but we won't know for sure if it works until we try it as a band, so I'm looking forward to that.

Recording will be different as Chris, Peter and bassist Frank Heisler are all experienced as engineers and have expressed the interest and desire to deal with all the little fiddly engineering things that are a part of recording. This is great as I've always had an interest in the over all project and would rather others deal with the finer points. I'm sure their skills and knowledge will make for a great sounding recording.

Once we have the songs we want to record, rehearsed and fairly tight, we'll start recording and start discussing whether this release will be a download only, or hard copy CD. We'll also need to discuss any visual aspects for the release and the website. Then it'll be discussing what songs to play for the release party show, book the show, promote the show, and so on and so on.

So over all, things are working out quite well with new drummer Peter, and the new direction for rehearsals and writing.

Until next time…

Wilton
Vocalist for the band Wilton Said...

2:19Wilton Said...tag:wiltonsaid.com,2005:Post/28670582014-04-13T13:31:05-04:002014-04-13T14:52:47-04:00Wilton Said… Newsletter #87Hello and Rock Opera
Hope everyone is well. At last, some sunshine and warmer weather. This positive weather vibe has spurred me to record the vocals to one of the Rock Opera character parts myself. So far two songs have been recorded and over the next few months I hope to complete it. This will leave just one part left to record, the character of the Mom which requires either a female vocalist or an extremely high ball crushing male. (I'll probably have more luck with the former).

Wilton Said… Band
The search for a drummer continues, however we do have a few candidates lined up for audition over the next few weeks. We thought we had a match about a month ago but unfortunately it didn't work out, so… strings and vocal chords crossed that one of these guys will.
If you've visited the wiltonsaid.com site recently, you may have noticed a slight change in band member credits, namely myself. In the past there has been some confusion as to whether "Wilton Said…" was myself or the name of the band. It was both. However, to ease up on any confusion, the band is now definitely called Wilton Said… and I am simply "Wilton". Once we have found a new drummer, the website will be changed to visually reflect the full band.

Other Stuff
Some of you know that I am a HUGE Kate Bush fan, so it was with great disappointment that I was not able to get tickets to see her September performances in England. However, I've since found out that many many many KB fans were unable to get tickets. The demand was just too high which is understandable as she hasn't toured since 1978, and that was her only tour. Hopefully she'll enjoy herself and decide to play again in the near future. When that happens, I'll just click on the first two seats that come up.

Lately I've been on a Tori Amos listening kick. Previously, I had a few of her earlier recordings, Little Earthquaks, Under the Pink (which is a great and eclectic recording), Boys For Pele (a fan favorite but not mine), From the Choir Girl Hotel, and To Venus And Back (live and some studio recordings). After this, I fell out of favor with her. A few weeks ago I decided to check out her other stuff via youtube and iTunes and was surprised that she had so many releases. I took a sample listen to songs off of Scarlet's Walk (2002), The Beekeeper (2005), American Doll Posse (2007), Abnormally Attracted to Sin (2009), Midwinter Graces (2009), Night of Hunters (2011), and Gold Dust (2012). To my ears, Scarlet and Bees sounded too commercial AOR, sort of like a watered down Sarah Mclaughlan so I passed. Doll Posse was different and featured a lot of guitar, very edgy, but I wasn't interested. Attracted to Sin sounded cool and eclectic so I bought it. Midwinter Graces was Tori's take on a Christmas Album and I wasn't interested. Night of Hunters sounded interesting with Tori's voice and Piano being backed by an assortment of Orchestral instruments. I bought it. So far both albums have grown on me significantly, especially Night of the Hunters. Tori takes musical motifs from long gone composers and reworks them into new original pieces with a lyric narrative. The album while being orchestral in nature is quite edgy and matched nicely along with Tori's aggressive piano style. As far as vocals, her voice is top notch as she soars through and above the sonic arrangements. Over all, a nice blend of Orchestral music with a slight pop vocal sensibility.
Abnormally Attracted to Sin is an album which features fantastic soaring pop melodies along with some great sonic arrangements. There's a mix of electronic styled drum beats (Give), live drums (Strong Black Vine), faster paced rock quirky styled songs (Police Me) along side cinematic styled tunes (That Guy). There's also the tongue in cheek lighter styled piano based song (Marry Jane). This one is probably my favorite of all of her pop albums. Which makes these albums really interesting is… never mind, I'm sure you can look it up yourself. :)

So far both albums have grown on me significantly, especially Night of the Hunters. When asked why the heavy emphasis on music from this release, Wilton explains…

"It's been almost 10 years since the release of The Butterfly Plague. However the writing for that album is around 15 years old and it was a very important statement both lyrically and musically, at least to myself, that I had to make. The music was my first attempt at writing a rock opera influenced by my new love of Andrew Lloyd Webbers "Jesus Christ Superstar", hence why so much of it has recurring themes. In the end the lyrical idea for the rock opera was abandoned and I decided to look elsewhere for lyrical inspiration.
The lyrics stemmed from a variety of places such as the Timothy Finnley book The Butterfly Plague, the so called reality talk shows which proliferated T.V. (Geraldo), a recent break-up with a girl friend who wasn't really right for me and vice versa, and my own inner demons. The event which set this whole lyrical inspiration in motion was the 1996 film "The Long Kiss Goodnight" which featured Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.
It wasn't until I had a more solid line up of musicians that I decided to record the whole thing which was done during the Fall and Winter of 2003/2004 with the release being in the Spring of 2004. In addition to myself on Vocals and Keys, the original recording features Chris Reid on guitar, Richard Rizzo on drums and Andrew Buntain on bass.
Now almost 10 years later I thought it would be a great thing to revisit the material and play much of it in it's running order."

The end is getting closer, bit by bit. So far, two character parts have been recorded, a third is being worked on over the next month or so leaving three more parts to do. (I may do one part). I'm always looking for vocalists to do a trade of services with (I can play guitar, keys and sing on your recording project) so if you don't mind traveling to east of Downtown, and have a bit of dramatic flair to your voice, I'd love to hear from you.

Marillion
My wife and I were at the Marillion Convention in March and were once again blown away by all three shows. Highlights were Script for a Jesters Tear, Brave in it's entirety, Gazza and Sounds That Can't be Made, all spread throughout the three nights. As a result it's still difficult to choose a favorite night. I don't know how they'll top this for the 2015 Montreal Convention.

I will hopefully reconvene recording of the Rock Opera in the New Year. I do have a few vocalists who have shown interest in recording character parts, but we'll wait to get through the holidays before recording.

Until next time
